Sales & Customer Service
We view selling our products to our dealers and distributors as a partnership. We don’t feel we have achieved success unless our partners are also successful. We pride ourselves on providing professional sales, credit, technical, and marketing support.
International Sales
Our goal is to treat our international partners with the same level of care and customer service that has been the cornerstone of our business model in Canada for over 44 years. Our international sales division works hard to support our distributors. All distributors have access to resources through the Norco Download Centre such as marketing and promotional materials, logos, and product images. As part of our international sales plan we participate in all key international bicycle shows.
Domestic Sales
Norco has the most extensive network of inside and outside sales reps in Canada with 15 professional road reps who call on every independent bicycle dealer across the country. All reps are armed with a laptop computer as their direct link to the company’s product database. With it, they can instantly check stock and generate orders while in the field. Our reps do much more than just take orders; they offer product knowledge sessions for sales staff and participate in sales and demo days in order to assist the staff and better understand their dealers’ businesses.
Customer Service & Warranty
Our customer service department works closely with our partners to handle all incoming sales, warranty, and repair inquiries. Norco is currently the national repair centre for Marzocchi, RockShox, Hayes and Avid, and we pride ourselves on quick ‘48 hour turn-around’ warranty repair for these product lines.
NSTT (Norco Sales & Technical Training)
Our dealers and distributors also benefit from our annual dealer and staff training sessions. These events provide the opportunity to work directly with Norco sales and customer service staff, and to speak directly with representatives from some of the brands we distribute. This hands-on training helps to solidify the relationship between Norco and its partners.
Credit Support
Given the seasonality for bicycle product sales, dealers are very reliant on financing purchases. Our credit department works hard to ensure that our dealers are structuring their business for long-term success. Norco has been recognized as one of the best in the Canadian sporting goods industry for our dealer financial support programs.
Warehousing & Distribution
The Vancouver and Toronto distribution centres combine over 100,000 square feet of warehouse space. Our team uses a state-of-the-art carousel and a fleet of mobile equipment to package and ship over 60,000 orders across North America each year.
